About

The Economic Crime Manifesto 2022 and 2024 were written by the APPG on Anti-Corruption & Responsible Tax and the APPG on Fair Business Banking and funded by the Open Society Foundations. It is not an official publication of the House of Commons or House of Lords. It has not been approved by either House or its committees. All-Party Parliamentary Groups are informal groups of members of both Houses with a common interest in particular issues. The views expressed in this report are those of the Group.

The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Anti-Corruption & Responsible Tax is a unique campaigning organisation with strong cross-party support that works to influence political debate and deliver real world change. Its aim is to develop and advocate for policies which promote fair taxation and put a stop to corruption or financial crime. We work not only for the headline fiscal purpose of increasing public revenue, but also for the wider purpose of ensuring that the public at large continues to have faith in the system. We are non-partisan and work to build consensus across the political divide.

The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Fair Business Banking is a key driver for change and a forum for consultation that incorporates all stakeholders who share the objective of creating a thriving and resilient relationship between businesses and lenders. To this objective, it is essential we listen to all voices and give equal weight to all representations made to us.
